Mission of function
- The AP (Asia Pacific) Marketing Manager acts as part of the global BD functions and cooperates closely with the AP1) countries to support and accelerate growth of CPS sales channels OI and NS volume. This includes the identification of market segment needs, the localization and complementation of the market offering and sales initiatives, as well as the program implementation support.
Contacts (internal / external)
- Functional and line reporting: Team Leader CPS AP Business Development
- HQ Zug contacts: CPS energy team, VAP and RSL segment marketing, business segment PM's, Marcom
- HQ BG contacts: APOGEE product management and marketing
- AP contacts: CPS product management, marketing and BD
Task
1. Identification of product portfolio and market offering needs for specific sales channels in AP.
2. Provide segment specific competitor information.
3. Tailor, localize and complement HQ market segment offerings to A/P needs (e.g. marketing material, tender and specification texts, energy efficiency campaings, technical & sales support tools, extranet localization, vertical packages) in cooperation with business segments and regional companies.
4. Provide localized marcom material, sales initiatives and pull marketing. Support regional customer events if required.
5. Support system and product roll-outs to sales channels.
6. Provide hands-on implementation support to regional companies in implementing partner programs.
7.Accomplish best practice sharing.
Knowledge
1. Product and industry
- Knows systems & products for building automation as well as HVAC applications.
2. Market and customer
- Understand HVAC market, channels, influencers, end-customers, competitors.
3. Marketing
- Know marketing frameworks and methods
4. Language
- Know how to structure and formulate documents and to effectively communicate in English language.
5. Customer focus
- Know how to cooperate with internal clients to reach "buy in" and to reach customer satisfaction.
Experience
- 3+ year working experience in the HVAC industry (consulting engineer, mechanical contractor, product/solution manufacturing company)
- 1+ years working experience in marketing management or product management
Education and Language
- Bachelor degree or above
- Fluency in English
