Support Engineer – Server (JAVA/JEE)
The position includes overall responsibility for technical issues with our customers. Management on all commercially deployed products to customers. Working with an experienced global support team. Providing world class support to customers.
Key responsibilities:
? Support the integration of products and software management solutions on mobile devices, automotive systems and operator networks.
? Provide high-quality technical support via phone, e-mail and on-site to customers.
? Manage case tracking, prioritization and escalations to global support / R&D.
? Develop demonstration integrations and tools for Red Bend’s products on various platforms such as mobile devices and automotive systems
? Assist in development of Technical Support knowledgebase; documenting issues resolutions.
? Identify product enhancement opportunities through regular interaction with customers.
Qualifications:
? B.Sc. degree in computer science/ Industrial Engineering
? Experienced of 8+ years in the SW industry
? Experience & knowledge of Java (J2ME / J2SE) development/ Server development
? Experience & knowledge of DB – Oracle, SQL
? Server side – Linux hands-on, Networking, Android, Symbian or RTOSs
? Experience working with over-seas customers
? Handling support cases and post-sales processes
? Excellent communication skills, high level of English
? Strong team player and can work independently as well.
**Advantage:
? Knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages (Perl, Python, shell, Ant)
? Experience in and knowledge of the embedded software and the mobile handset market
