Job description
Primary responsibilities include providing solutions to Cognos customers via the telephone and email through troubleshooting, research and investigation, and driving engineering solutions while maintaining constant communication with the customer. Mainly focusing on IBM Customer base, providing support to Pre and Post sales teams in GCG. Working with 3LS and Product development and Product Management in Ottawa, Canada.

Familiarity with Windows/Linux/Unix OS administration
Familiarity with LDAP such as Active Directory or other network security products
Familiarity with web-based applications and J2EE Application Server technology, including JSP, Servlets, Oracle Weblogic, and IBM Websphere
Understanding of networking concepts and configurations and experience with performance testing of Web based applications.
Good analytical, trouble-shooting, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills, as well as a customer-oriented attitude with the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Experience with report generation packages (Cognos, Hyperion, Crystal Reports) is a plus
Familiarity with financial application software such as Essbase, Business Objects, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, Oracle, etc is a plus
Programming experience with XML, Java/C++, JSP is a plus
