Role Summary/Purpose

The IT Leader will be responsible for providing strategic direction, program execution, and operational excellence in support of China JV and China/Asia regional growth. This role will drive successful delivery of global integrated processes and enabling technologies to drive profitable growth for the Aero derivatives gas turbine organization.

Essential Responsibilities

- Drive IT strategies and implementations that enable productivity, profitability, and growth for products and services businesses for the Aero China business including the JV - Ensure Infrastructure & Security (i.e. LAN, WAN, E-Mail, Hardware, Software, Data Privacy, Encryption, Firewalls, Data Loss Prevention, IP Protection) is successfully implemented and supported - Drive key platforms that support growth playbook initiatives, such as CRM, PLM, ERP, RM&D, and Reporting for China/Asia region. - Partner with key GE and JV functions (IT, OTR, Projects, Quality, Services, Finance) to ensure, best practices, and lessons learned are applied throughout project lifecycles - Serve as focus point/site lead to support the region operation where gaps exist - Maintain effective working relationship with JV, GE business leaders, team members, and vendors to integrate programs into overall strategic objectives - Conduct project reviews, feasibility, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program(s) - Manage GDC, CoE, TSG, GAMS and IM resources to effectively deliver and support solutions - Coordinate program support activities, including development and delivery of internal / external communications, establishing roadmaps, benchmarks, and metrics - Manage total cost of ownership (i.e. invoices, budgets, contracts) associated with program(s) - Initiate, coordinate and drive China GDC penetration to balance the globe. Drive cost down and better delivery quality by partnering with VMO and global project leaders - Manage and adhere to security (Infrastructure, IP Protection), Controllership (i.e. Sox, Export Control) and Project Management Quality (dPMM) - Effectively communicate (i.e. status, issues, and escalations) to leadership and other various levels of the organization - Work across Aero business and IT team to develop the vision and strategy for the next evolution of the team, position China IT resources to support and deliver solutions for the rest of the word, build organization capability

Qualifications/Requirements

- BS/BA in Computer Science, and/or related technical experience - Approximately 2+ years’ experience in business systems analysis and support including working with all aspects of the application development lifecycle (requirements through implementation) - Experienced with CRM, PLM, ERP, Reporting platforms - Experienced with systems integration between ERP and third party or custom solutions on a variety of platforms
