Mission of function
- Strongly and sustainably grow the RAC Business in (i) China and (II) Asia Pacific in line with the RAC strategy and in cooperation with RAC HQ.
- Lead a team of Product Managers for Sensors, Controllers and M3 system and grow the team as appropriate and required.

- Customers, existing and potential vendors.
- Internal:
- Sales and Sales Management CN and AP, Marketing, MARCOM, R&D, Production and BSCE Corporate Departments (e.g. HR).
- Business Segment Management, Product Management, Business Development and Channel Management (particularly M3) overseas (Zug, Regensburg, Buffalo Grove, Hong Kong)
Task
-Develop sustainable RAC business in line with the RAC strategy and in cooperation with RAC Management at HQ.
-Assure that the RAC business in CN and AP is synchronized with and supported by local RC Management and in line with the RC strategy.
-Assure that CN and AP product and market requirements are considered appropriately in the RAC strategy and that related initiatives are conducted.
-Assure that RAC initiatives (e.g. product creations, market initiatives, etc.) which are run at BSCE are conducted according to specification, schedule and budget.
-Coach and lead RAC Product Managers located at BSCE BJ.
Knowledge
-Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
-Excellent market knowledge and deep understanding of market & customer needs, at least in CN
-Good application and product knowledge particularly in the field of HVAC (must) and Lighting (whish).
-Good Product Management process/methodology understanding.
-Good Product Lifecycle process/methodology understanding.
Experience
-Strong experience in the field of HVAC and possibly Electrical Industry required, either in Sales or Product Management.
-Project management experience is an advantage.
-Has worked in an environment with strong process focus.
-Leadership experience with small / single-function team is an advantage.
-Strong experience working with partners from overseas (language, culture tolerance).
-Working internationally, particularly with mainly internal partners in Asia Pacific countries as well as HQ in Zug (Switzerland) and Buffalo Grove (US).
Education and Language
- University degree (technical orientation an advantage)
- Preferably an additional degree/training, e.g. in Marketing
- Willing to travel within China and overseas
- Good command of English
