Position: Senior Software Design Engineer in Test(networking, performance tune-up, or data mining)
Roles & Requirements
- We are looking for a motivated and experienced technical lead or expert, who is able to independently own testing areas and make sure the quality for both product and Engineering process.
- Understands and clarifies how features should work to eliminate ambiguous requirements
- Work closely with developers to analyze architecture, design & source code and to detect potential risks
- Create test plans, strategies & test cases for the features he/she owns
- Develops compelling and grounded customer cases for fixing critical bugs
- Designs and develops/uses test automation tools independently & effectively
- Investigate and repro bugs for fast turnaround time
- Analyzes patterns of defects and propose solution for product and engineering process
Required Qualifications
- The candidate will be part of members of a team responsible for building a world class internet search and ad product.
- Experience in software developing and testing is required
- Good at C/C++/C# coding
- Preferred on rich development experience on Internet networking, performance tune-up, or data mining
- Good sense of software product quality and test workflow.
- Excellent in problem solving
- Ability to quickly understand new technology and applications
- Experience in internet service, search engine, ad platform would be a great plus
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
