Title: Business Consultant

Report to: General Manager, Data Analysis, China

Location: PRC/Beijing or Shanghai

This position is for an international reputable information management and business strategy solution provider.

Job Responsibility:

- Effective and sensitive management of the relationship with the client.

- Provide consulting on business strategy, e.g. Basel II core applications includes but not limited to acquisition, account management, collection, Advanced Basel applications (risk based pricing, economic capital, performance measurement, provision, capital allocation, etc) and business process consulting

- Effective co-ordination of all work undertaken for particular client(s) by the division

- Management of client expectations, at a high level in the client organization, as to product capabilities and delivery time.

Job Requirement

- Banking industry experience in business department (ideally), risk department, hands-on experience with acquisition, account management or collection on credit policies and strategies

- Consulting experience in retail banking (credit card, personal loans, auto loans, mortgage etc) on business strategies and scorecard application:

- Acquisition/underwriting, account management (line management, risk alert, x-sell) or collection strategies, process, focus on risk management or decision analytics

- Analytical capabilities on segmentation, decision tree development with good skills in SAS, SAS E-Miner or SPSS or SPLUS

- Good communication skills. Presentation and documentation skills are a must.
