Business Leader, Corporate Relations
This position is for a world known credit card organization. Based in Beijing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute local relevant, long-term and sustainable CSR programs.
- Design, implement and manage third party engagement programs designed to widen understanding about the payments industry in China and build strong relationships for ABC.
- Lead the execution of ongoing corporate reputation and issues management programs in close coordination with other CR and GR colleagues.
- Develop executive visibility programs in China, especially in relation to conferences and other relevant industry forums.
- Work with sales and country management to develop consistent client communications, including proving support to the hosting of China client forums.
- Working with HR and global internal communications, support employee engagement and communication initiatives in China.
Requirements
- Relevant degree
- Minimum of 8-10 years experience working in a corporate affairs or public relations position either in-house or with an agency-financial services experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent English and Mandarin verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong track record of creating and delivering proactive and strategic communications programs (both external and internal)
- Track record of dealing with executives at a senior level and providing considered and valuable counsel
- Understanding of how media work and news values
- Good knowledge of the local market and existing relationships with financial media a plus
