Leading provider of Technology and Technology Services to the gaming industry seeks an
experienced Java EE Developer and Architect to manage a team of six experienced developers.
The successful candidate will be a pragmatic and self-motivated individual who can both work
and lead on their own initiative and function well within a team.
This is a unique opportunity to build a new team around a core technology, shaping the
direction, design and ethos of the software and the team.

Responsibilities
? Building and Managing a team of six development staff
? Gaming Server Design and Implementation
? Part of the Mobile Technology management team
? Research new technologies and give design leadership

Required skills
? Extensive knowledge of Java and Java EE 8
? Knowledge and experience of application architecture and design
? Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Microservices and Containerisation
? JBoss and Wildfly Application Server
? UNIX CLI, Shell scripting
? SQL and RDBMS methodology
? Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodologies
? Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development,
? Setting and meeting deadlines, time management

Experience
Must come with 8 to 10 years of solid Java development with at least 3 years of team
management experience. Proven experience of design and development of stable, scalable
enterprise applications and services.
