POSITION SUMMARY

This position is the primary specialist and contact for the Oil and Gas, Petrochem and Chemical Industry.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

§ University or College Graduate

§ Engineering or Technological Process Degree in Petrochemical, Chemical or Oil and Gas preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

§ Promote equipment sales in petrochemical industries.

§ Find & develop own new customers.

§ Collect project information from the design institute, give it to the rep and push the rep to sell for the various projects learned about from the design institute.

§ Give technical support.

REQUIRED SKILLS

§ High level of process instrumentation product knowledge (primarily mechanical level and pressure transmitter).

§ Understand the technologies used in Oil and Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical Plants.

§ Ability to learn different technologies and apply it to sales.

§ Excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively to design engineers at design institutes.

§ Strong problem solving skills

§ High capability to understand products

§ Sales experience preferred

§ Good thinker, action oriented

§ Good people skills

§ Ability to work with reps and customers

§ Highly organized

§ Electronically capable and computer savvy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Business Systems)

§ Detail oriented

§ Good command of spoken & written English, Good PC skills.

§ Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills

§ Ability to present and clarify information to all levels of Sales and Marketing

§ May conduct management presentations
