WLAN Firmware Engineer
Job Overview:
This organization is a leading provider of wireless technologies for the emerging IoE, and consumer electronics markets. We are focused on inventing technologies that connect and empower people in ways that are elegant and accessible to all. The team keeps working on diverse problems like building high performance WLAN using 802.11n/ac/ax and building extremely low power Wi-Fi for IoT applications. We also work on BT/Wi-Fi combo chips that go into diverse markets from TVs, OTTs, Audio systems, Cars, Cameras and Appliances.
Key Responsibilities: The candidate works on design and implementation of WLAN firmware features and BT / Wi-Fi / LTE coexistence algorithms for SoC in an efficient way. Deliver high-quality and time-to-market features without any delay. Response/resolve quickly on customer issues. Work closely with other teams like Hardware, Host Software and Test teams to drive feature delivery and resolve issues. Should be willing to travel within India/USA or abroad for business requirements on need basis
Minimum Qualification:
-1+ year 802.11/WIFI firmware development experience with good WIFI MAC knowledge.
-Experience with embedded platform development, especially memory limited system.
-Proficient in C/C++ program skills; familiar with GDB.
-Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
-Strong independent problem-solving skills with proactive working attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in wireless throughput or power consumption improvement
-Experience in Linux/Android WIFI driver development.
-Experience with networking driver development, such as TCP/IP stack.
-Knowledge of application protocols DHCP/DNS etc.
-Knowledge of CPU architecture (ARM/Tensillica etc.)
-Knowledge of RTOS
-Good team work.
