Job summary:
As a key member of the ASPAC regional management team the marketing manager is responsible for coordination and execution of all aspects of marketing activities including market strategies, market intelligence, product portfolios, and market communication in the ASPAC region.
Also acting as a liaison between global marketing organizations and each of the countries within the region, the marketing manager strives to maintain consistency with global positioning while adapting content for ASPAC region.
Working closely with the regional management team, the marketing manager identifies key strategic opportunities to cooperatively drive growth opportunities and increase business profitability within Asia Pacific.
Main responsibilities
(1) Working with HealthCare management to create marketing strategy, tactics and marketing programs; ensuring effective execution of the marketing programs
(2) Working within corporate strategies and policy frameworks, designs, proposes and implements marketing strategies, guidelines and procedures within broad principles and policies set by the organization to meet marketing requirements supporting short and long-term business needs in ASPAC
(3) Overseeing market research and monitors competitor activity to identify opportunities and trends within existing and new market segments
(4) Overseeing the development of marketing plans for the company's products/brands, including pricing strategies, sales plans, and implementation of product strategies
(5) Developing and attaining key performance indicators for implemented marketing strategies
(6) Overseeing brand/product introductions, marketing/sales campaigns, promotion activities, and advertising and assesses their success against the plan
(7) Ensuring connection between marketing and sales functions and supervises their joint work with distribution channels.
(8) Overseeing direct marketing, advertising, news release and event marketing in ASPAC
(9) Conducting and analysing market research for risks and marketability of potential products and product features; supplying information of research work and industry intelligence to HealthCare management
(10) Creating and maintaining annual marketing budgets
(11) Managing a team of Marketing professionals located throughout the region, including training, coaching, performance management, etc. to drive the delivery of expected outcomes.
Competencies (skills, knowledge, behaviours)
Degree: Bachelor degree and above
Experience: 10+ years of business management experiences in healthcare industry in ASPAC region. Marketing experience is a plus
Languages: Fluently English and Mandarin
IT-knowledge: Familiar with Business IT tools and knowledge
Technical skills: Healthcare industry, radiology and hospital IT background
Soft skills: Sense of marketing. Good leadership competencies and customer focus. Strong communication skills.
Specific skills / other: Extensive knowledge of Agfa products and product marketing
