On behalf of our Investment Banking Client in Zhu Hai, China, we are sourcing for an experienced Chief Information Officer, a senior management to oversee and governance of the IT department in the Bank.

The role provides significant breadth, from infrastructure to applications, security to disaster recovery, and requires a solid ability to operate within a large, global IT organization.

Suitable candidate for this important management position will oversee the technology department and his/her main responsibilities include:
1. implementation of an IT governance framework to monitor and oversee Bank IT services
2. oversee day to day IT operations
3. ensure frequent communications with regional and global decision makers, and
4. managing IT risk and security for MSBIC, including collaborating with Bank Management, Compliance, and respective Risk Management divisions in managing regulatory activities and engagement with the regulatory bodies, such as China Banking Regulatory Commission, People Bank of China, Public Security Bureau etc.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Total of 15 to 20 years of experience in information technology
- At least 7 years of experience managing and directing information technology resources and strategies for financial firms / - Banking Industry
- Experience in developing strategic or governance frameworks
- Solid understanding of technology in financial services
- Strong familiarity with Technology Risk Management concepts and regulatory landscape in financial firms in China
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- Solid interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to operate in a regional or global organization
- Candidates must be willing to be located and worked in Zhuhai, China; with extensive travel to Hong Kong
