Overview:
As a Core Team Leader, the person is responsible for the day to day managing of program strategy and execution for dealer development and rollout in the Greater China markets which includes China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This team leader role, involves managing a regional programme and project team which consists of Regional Project Managers (RPM's) and on-site Project Managers (PM's) throughout the Greater China region.
The Team Leader will be required to interface with Turner & Townsend project team structure based in USA & Japan in regard to the design standards and processes applicable for the project. In regard to business direction and strategy for the Greater China markets, the team Leader will interface with Client's's management team in Beijing.
The primary focus is directing this multidiscipline team to ensure a consistent and coherent interpretation / execution of program standards amongst the stakeholders, and to balance the demands of the clients corporate objectives.
The Team Leader also plays a vital part in providing the business with strategic direction / decisions and future planning to enable the successful delivery of the program roll out on a going forward basis.
Core duties are but not limited to:
Responsibility to the Client for providing a motivated team that can manage the delivery of the program and integrate prime trade marked elements to the works
Provide advice to drive the strategic direction of the program to enable the meeting of clients Business goals
Ensuring regional resource is a fully integrated single team
Receiving and disseminating design & program management matters to the Global team and other regions in the program including Asia, Middle East, USA and Europe.
Ensuring consistent & coherent interpretation of design & compliance standards
Capturing, communicating and sharing site specific applications
Recording planned and actual regional resource work plans
Reporting progress
Strategic:
Communicating the definition of the Design Requirement for the Brand
Setting up the program infrastructure in the Greater China markets to enable efficient delivery and implementation
Developing internal and external resource plans / needs to enable implementation using appropriately skilled individuals with focused tools to support them
Adjusting the delivery strategy for short term ramp up and long term delivery stage in line with progress in each market
Support the procurement of key program suppliers to ensure that they can deliver required scope in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Directly negotiating key contracts with supplier to ensure lowest price for the desired quality
Responsibility to the Client for providing a motivated team that can manage the delivery of the program and integrate prime trade marked elements to the works
Process development and process reengineering for the program to ensure the program runs in an efficient manner for all concerned
Provide advice to drive the strategic direction of the program to enable the meeting of Client's's Business goals
Provide strategic advice to Client regarding overall Program Strategy
Operational:
Manage all vendors on the Programme in terms of quality of product and service delivery
Responsible for Program Management construction / Brand compliance liaison and support for regional team responsible for the design and construction works
Provide centralized support to Regional teams for the review and approval of dealer specific issues to ensure Brand compliance in line with Brand Program rules and specifications
Reports to Client regarding overall program progress / red flag issues
Support with annual supplier contract renewals and fee negotiation.
Counsel/dispute resolution as necessary regarding improper installation and compliance.
