Work as Firmware engineer leader for firmware design development & NPI of Consumer Electronics products.
1. Lead design oversight within the EE R&D group from product requirement definition towards schematic development, MCU selection, firmware development, testing and documentation. Responsible to handover projects from development laboratory to factory mass production. Reviews the design regularly with his/her manager as well customers. Actively involved in design oversight and mentor junior colleagues in product development. Responsible to Development and maintenance of FW code in C/C++ running on embedded systems;
2. OEM projects customer technical support during NPI build: As technical support between customer and Hi-P factory for customer designed product trouble shooting and other NPI build support.
Our ODM products: small household appliance, smart consumer products, small intellectual products…
OEM products: all kinds of products in all kinds of area of consumer electronics, industry, household appliance etc.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce clear designs, excellent implementation and high quality code in accordance to the design specifications；
2. Ensure proper development process for requirement definition, coding and testing；
3. Troubleshoot/ debug embedded code and track firmware and operational “bugs” to closure；
4. Perform design verification/ validation testing on test and product platforms.
Job Requirement
1. Bachelor Degree or above in computer science, software, Electronic, automation etc.;
2. 3+ year’s firmware development experience in related industry;
3. Strong software engineering background of device driver development, embedded software development for real-time applications;
4. Knowledge of operating systems, VxWorks/Linux/QNX, would be a plus;
5. Good communication and cooperation skills in a multifunction team;
6. Self-motivated and team oriented personality.
