BASIC FUNCTION

Under the general direction of the Group Leader - Kohler Konnect, the Associate Customer Service Representative will respond to inquiries from HR customers across all of Asia Pacific In addition the Associate Customer Service Representative will respond to routine customer inquires.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Customer Service Representative will:

1. Process workflow events (i.e., new hires, promotion, reclassification, terminations, retirements, and deaths) and distribute appropriate information and forms, receive completed forms, and review forms for accuracy and updating of appropriate systems.

2. Process workflow events (i.e., new hires, promotion, reclassification, terminations, retirements, and deaths) by entering, updating and/or verifying appropriate associate data; and distribute appropriate information and forms, receive completed forms, and review forms for accuracy and updating of appropriate systems.

3. Assist with incoming mail, scanning, and miscellaneous duties during "off-line" time as needed.


Additional challenges and responsibilities are to:

1. Deliver consistently excellent service in a new and constantly changing environment.

2. Cope with system/process development and "work arounds."

3. Understand the complexity of Kohler's diverse environment (i.e., workforce, locations, organization, and benefit plans).

4. Accept the changing strategies, philosophies, and initiatives of Kohler Human Resources.

5. Assist HR customers through cultural change processes

6. Anticipate and "read" HR customer needs and gather appropriate resources to meet them.

7. Become a proficient user of Kohler Konnect's systems and software applications (i.e. SAP, KTD, AMS) and stay current on new and changing procedures, practices, and technology.

8. Balance timely telephone customer service with case work to meet HR customer expectations and ensure that plan materials are sent out promptly.

9. Respond to increasing HR customer volume and case complexity.

1. Kohler Co. associates, retirees, former employees, associates' family members, and various vendors.

5. Claims Processing

6. Information Systems (IS)

7. Security

External Business Relationships (Frequent contact with):

1. State/Government Agencies

2. Banks/Mortgage Companies

3. Potential Employees

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Associate Degree and above.

· A minimum of 0-1 years' work experience in multi-national company, with direct customer contact in a Human Resources and/or customer service environment is required.

· Good at spoken and written English

· Able to work under pressure

· Good communication skills

· Strong follow-up skills


A qualified Associate Customer Service Representative must be a team player, have good organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while accessing and procuring accurate information in a fast-paced Windows/SAP computer environment.
