SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. In charge of package design or improvement operation for Kitchen & Bath products. It includes bathtub, bathroom furniture, Synthetic Top and other bathroom accessory.
2. On time delivered package documents, including drawings, BOM list, testing result, evaluate reports for NPD&REA projects.
3. Incorporate quality practices with focus on corporate, divisional and departmental missions and goals.
4. Promote internal and external cross-functional collaboration supporting team environments
5. Drive cost reduction projects on packaging.
6. Collect concerned info from market, distributor and end customer about competitors' packaging, request of customer, etc.
7. Establish testing facilities for packaging.
8. Collect and implement packaging standard and create special standard and model for KCI products.
9. Facilitate engineering innovation in daily activities and challenges.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Package Engineering or equivalent degree required.
2. At least 5 years work experience in retail package material/structure/transportation experience within a concurrent engineering environment.
3. Must have a solid knowledge of engineering principles applied to the design of product packaging; field data analysis methods, quality and reliability engineering techniques, concurrent project management practices, package/product performance test protocols, material & machinery applications and graphic communications.
4. Good communication skills.
5. Proficiency with Pro-E and AutoCAD.

Directly report to Supervisor of Engineering Service

Frequent contact with engineers and plants
External Business Relationships: package supplier
External contacts with package supplier
