Position: Management Accounting and Planning Section Chief

Report to: Accounting and Finance Division Manager

Job Summary:
To be responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling subordinates to perform the assigned tasks efficiency. Ensure timely, accuracy and completeness of the operational reports from the accounting system. Ensure all activities of the unit are carried out in compliance with Bank's accounting policies and relevant accounting standards

Responsibilities:
? To report the outcome of the investigation and problems solving from time to time to his/ her supervisor
? To give advice or provide guidance to subordinates on complicated accounting treatment or accounting issues in order to assist them to provide advice to Branches or other units.
? To make decision and provide guidance to subordinates on the accounting treatment for Bank's services and activities in accordance with Bank's accounting policies relevant accounting standards
? To review the proposed accounting treatment prior to the submission for the approval from the supervisor
? To monitor and supervise the preparation of accounting manual including functional specification of various system to achieve the accuracy, completeness and up-to-date
? To be member of the COA working group to consider and analyze the impact of the changes in COA as per the Change Request in particular the change in the account and definition. Summarize the result of the consideration and obtain the approval from the supervisor
? To review the appropriateness of the request for changes or the increase or decrease of the operational reports from the accounting system and co-ordinate with relevant units to do so prior to the request for approval from the supervisor
? To prepare annual plan and budgeting and manage expenses in accordance with approved budget
? To manage personnel under supervision, develop and provide training to staff
? To develop and improve work efficiency

Job Specifications:
Technical Knowledge
? Bachelor degree in Accounting , Finance or other related field
? Good understanding of local banking practice and regulations, products and services

Skills
? Good leadership, inter-personal and problem solving skills
? Initiative, hard working and being able to deliver quality results under pressure
? Proficiency in both Chinese and English in particular good written and verbal communication skills

Experiences
? Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
? Relevant experience with the local Chinese bank is an advantage.
? Has PWC, DTT, KPMG, EY work experience is preferred. 举报 分享
