Application Engineer- Digital Networking
Location: Beijing
Responsibilities:
? Providing applications support for network communications processors within the Digital Networking Group at NXP.
? Assist customers in the application and implementation of NXP SoC networking products and high speed system design.
? Collaboration with FAE in customer design and issue resolution. Technical liaison to the sales and marketing teams.
? Provide technical training to customers and support organizations.
? Write/publish applications notes and technical documents.
? Team player working in coordination with Manufacturing, Test, Design, Architecture, Marketing and Sales teams in support of NXP customers.
? Perform a variety of complex tasks, works under general supervision
? Job includes applications engineering providing platform, software and customer technical support on new and existing Networking SoC products.
? Job may include development and support of embedded software to aid in the root cause analysis of issues, improve customer system solution, develop demos for certain applications, and/or showcase products functional capabilities.
? Job will include hardware lab analysis and debug as needed to support customers.

Requirements:
? Minimum BSEE and 10+ years or MSEE and 8+ years of system/micro level architecture, design or applications support of network high speed systems.
? Strong technical understanding of wireless protocols (LTE, WCDMA, etc.) is a plus.
? Knowledge of development and support of DSP and associated accelerators is a plus.
? Expert in C, Assembly, U-boot, Linux, software porting and application performance optimization is a plus.
