Purpose
? Seed production execution from Line Purification handoff from R&D to finished goods delivery from seed processing plants / 3rd parties as per SPP (Seed Production Plan) approved by Veg leadership
? Lead and develop the parent and commercial seed field production organisations for Veg seeds crop
? Implement field management processes and procedures ensuring compliance, reliability, cost and quality standards are met
? Ensure sufficient capacity is available to meet the short and long term requirements
? Manage internal Site production and 3rd Party toll production which includes field, growing and processing activities

Accountabilities
· Develop the seed production strategy aligned to the crop strategy and investment plan

· Develop and implement key field management processes and procedures in seed production

· Manage the parent seed production and increase of elite parent lines after handoff from breeders. Ensure inbred line maintenance and availability of sufficient pre-basic, basic and parent seed to meet seasonal crop plans

· Deliver the approved SPP (Volume, Cost, Quality and Time) within agreed upon tolerances

· Ensure that effective controlling programs are in place with appropriate KPIs

· Build effective working relationships with relevant functions such as PPT, Finance, and Purchasing

· Manage relationships with local growers, vendors and tollers with support from procurement

· Develop and manage a network of field production staff with clear accountabilities and plans for succession and personal development

· Focus effort to increase yield and improve yield reliability to reduce costs and production risk

· Ensure that a network of tollers is promptly available to cover the tolling plan as appropriate

· Ensure field & site production teams (Syngenta & third party) comply with Syngenta standards of HSEQS

 
Qualifications
 
Education: Bachelor degree. major in agriculture.
Experience: at least 5 years working experience in Seeds Production. Have international Production experience is better.
Good Understanding the China Seeds Production Situation and state. Can set up and implement the strategy.
Experience: Have the team Management experience.
Ability: Be able to communicate in English with International Colleague
Ability: Be able to manage the team’s performance and the efficiency. 举报 分享
