Development Engineer (m/f) - Vehicle Endurance Test Fleet / ECU testing

Tasks:

• Support of vehicle endurance test fleet with focus on testing of electronic control units (e.g. ECUs for engine, transmission, steering system, braking system)
• Identification of vehicles with issues in ECU-functionality and -communication
• Installation of data loggers in order to find issues
• Identification and reproduction of ECU fault codes
• Performing functional testing and recording measurements with relevant measurement values
• Documentation and reporting of issues to OEM in China and Germany as well as system development partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering
• Good knowledge of functions and communication between ECUs in automotive CAN architecture
• Good knowledge in using PC and measurement equipment, especially diagnosis- and CAN-tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe)
• Solid programming knowledge of C-language and VHDL-language
• Ability to work self-dependent within the area of responsibility and in a multicultural team
• Good language knowledge in German and English, Chinese preferable
• Experience in support of vehicle endurance test fleet with focus on ECU testing preferable
