Job Description - Sales Representative, Hertz China

(Successful candidate should have solid sales experience in MNC environment.)

A. Job title / Job code / Reporting to:
Sales representative, reporting directly to the Branch Manager, Chengdu.

B. Key-result areas (Major Accountabilities) (What is done and for what purpose)
§ Ensures a positive customer experience by effective management of rental and return process to include qualifying the renter and completing contracts.
§ Maximizes margin by upselling customers to higher-priced services and ancillary products.
§ Protects company assets through enforcement of company policies and procedures.
§ Communicate to Location Managers all relevant customer feedback to facilitate on-going improvements in our service and prices to drive continuous improvement within our operations.
§ Contributes to Hertz Improvement Process (HIP) to discover new and more efficient ways to run our business and deliver the right products and services to our customers faster and at a lower cost. Drives change from within to improve customer satisfaction and uses teamwork to tackle problems.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or the related field is strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
§ Company processes, including credit, sales, and operations.
§ Computer software tools.
§ The China approach to Sales & Marketing as well as International understanding

Skills:
§ Successfully apply sales and customer service techniques and processes
§ Effectively use oral and written communication skills
