Job summary
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities within an existing customer base in an assigned territory. You'll nurture relationships with our customers in order to close new contracts in the future. We will need you to manage forecasts on a weekly and quarterly basis, and track customer data. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will also work with internal and external partners to grow business and create solutions that serve the best interests of both our customers and Red Hat.
Primary job responsibilities
Focus on maintaining and expanding business relationships and market share with existing and new customers
Work as the overall account manager, which includes leading transactional sales, partnering with outside sales and the channel, and designing and implementing strategy
Gain new accounts and identify opportunities in a given territory
Communicate the value proposition associated with Red Hat’s solutions and services
Build customer relationships based on knowledge of Red Hat technology and suggest business solutions considering the customer’s needs and Red Hat’s best interest
Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and issues to help solve specific market challenges in targeted industries
Work with cross-functional team on a global scale to meet customer needs
Required skills
3+ years of experience in account sales, or equivalent education
Ability to create and implement an action plan to capture interest of potential customers
Basic knowledge of IT industry and solutions
Ability to meet required sales objectives
Good written and verbal English language skills
