Our client is a leading German Auto company, English skill is a must for this role.
Objective of Job
l Responsible for VS 20 related corporate communication;
l Responsible for daily communication activities for assigned model lines of company product portfolio;
l Organize TecDay, Test Drive and other events;
l Maitain good relationship with key media and able to generate coverage;
l Responsible for press material development and approval;
l Capable to develop executive briefing materials and speeches;
l Expected to put forward fresh approaches and initiatives for PR communication;
l Develop and implement long term communication plans and strategies with focus on professional and auto media.
Task & Responsibilities
l Media Relations:
ü Relationship-building and follow-up
ü Media inquiries handling
ü Interviews coordination and translation
ü Press Information editing, translation and distribution
l Product Communication Projects:
ü Product communication planning
ü Independently responsible for V-Class and Vito from Mercedes line-up
ü VS 20 press fleet management including new car ordering
ü Constantly looking for innovative communication strategies
ü Media landscape/competition analysis
ü Press materials preparation
ü Coordination with internal parties to facilitate all processes
ü Clearly brief agency on job tasks and develop execution plans
ü Manage projects and report to line manager responsively
l Press Event Planning and Execution:
ü Define communication and media strategy for press event
ü Implement and execute event as project manager
ü Proof-read and approve all press materials
ü On-site event management, must ensure flawless execution
ü Work with internal parties and external vendors to make sure smooth run of the events
ü Define and fabricate media messages to convince public on product advantages
ü Carefully select media to attend events considering both cost-effectiveness and maximizing media voice
ü Update and report to line manager in a timely manner
ü Requires responsive and wise decision making ability
ü Report development and follow-ups
l Media Strategy and Planning
ü Contribute to strategic planning of media communication
ü Draft yearly media communication plan
ü Brief PR agency to work out a yearly retainer program
ü Execute retainer project on yearly basis
ü Report and update reporting manager on important issues
ü Daily monitoring on industry news, and updating plans
ü Monitor potential issues and effectively handle media crisis
ü Constantly look out for media opportunities and long term partnership
l Corporate communication working with corporate PR
ü VS 20 related corporate / business communication topics
ü Sales & Network Strategies;
ü After-sales, issue/crisis, Recall communications;
ü Investment, M&A communications;
ü Legal, integrity communications;
ü Liaison with HQ COM/C & COM/CV;
Qualification, Competencies & Experience
l Fluent spoken and written English
l 5 - 6 year(s) PR experience or relevant experiences
l Good knowledge in auto industry
l Competent PR skills and professional knowledge
l Good communications skills, quick learner
l Confident, ready for working under pressure
l University degree
