职位描述

We are looking for professional colleagues who are highly experienced in complex outsourcing deals/contracts. There is no specific educational background required to do this job, thus it doesn't matter whether a potential candidate would have a financial or legal or technical background. The right mindset and practical skillset is of a bigger importance.


The candidates should be positioned as members of the respective account management teams and at the same time they would also belong to the Contracting Excellence community where they would be trained and mentored by senior managers. Thus this should not be sold as a low level administrative job since the position will get high top management visibility and support.


Within the assigned Account or group of Accounts (where appropriated) the Contract Manager is responsible and in charge for all contractual issues and all post-sales activities concerned with the contract in order to ensure its accuracy, with management of key areas of risk upon their identification, all in close collaboration with the respective Legal Department. This shall - in close co-operation with the involved business, the SDM and the Account Executive - include the monitoring and management of all contractual obligations of T-Systems towards the Customer and vice versa as well as monitor Customer's contractual obligations.


The position is responsible for:

  • all (post-sales) contractual matters within an assigned Account,
  • leading of contract negotiations with clients, customer attorneys and sub-contractors,
  • capability to put contractual regulations into business context and to present/discuss results on executive level by provision of legal and commercial advice and/or guidance regarding contract documents, obligations and contract matters to the business,
  • the contract familiarisation/ teach-ins for project/account teams upon commencement including the education and sensitizing of the Account teams regarding the Parties' contractual obligations and consequences in case of non-compliance,
  • serve as the point of contact on contractual matters internally and for customers,
  • implementing, maintaining, managing and executing appropriate (standard) tools required to administer the contract using the appropriate business tools.
  • maintaining contractual records and documentation.
  • setting-up and implementing a regular reporting of Contract Management matters in co-operation with the business unit and procedures for contract management,
  • identifying and report appropriately risks and opportunities, mitigating risks and management of legal related claims,
  • monitoring of and highlighting T-Systems' Customer's and Supplier's contract obligations against contract milestones and deliverables and highlight any non-compliances (e.g. contract calendar) in close cooperation with the respective project management,
  • preparing and/or reviewing all post contract formal communications (i.e. any documents that commit or set expectations with Customers including contract variations, contract claims, proposals, letters) prior to issue to Customers

Position requirements:

  • Experiences in the IT-Outsourcing Business, preferably as Contract Manager but alternatively also SDMs or Sales Representatives, et cetera could be qualified.
  • Significant experience in a challenging project environment
  • Experiences with risk management and compliance, disciplined execution skills and keen eye for detail
  • Analytical and logic skills.
  • The possession of proven negotiation skills and the capacity to persuade others to accept recommendations, cooperate or change their behavior, work with others towards a beneficial agreement for all parties.
  • Good customer facing skills as well as experience of being actively involved as a team member in complex project situations.
  • English fluent in speech and writing
  • University degree (Law / Economics or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Flexibility, willingness to travel
