Job Summary:
Search Ranking Engineer at Coupang works on Search ranking infrastructure. Parse different type of data, develop algorithm for search ranking.
Responsibilities:
? Design, develop, test, maintain product search ranking infrastructure.
? Parse frontend logs, analyze users' behavior, develop features and algorithm for
search ranking.
? Conceive of the implement new features and ranking changes to improve search and
ultimately help users both find what whey want and interesting new content.
? Continuously improve/enhance search quality.
Qualifications:
? BS degree in computer science, or statistic analysis experiences.
? Be able to develop by script language or other language to prototype data model
? Be able to design and implement effective algorithms in user query understanding &
processing and on-line ranking feature extraction
? Be able to develop by script language or other language to prototype data model
? 2+ years of software development experience in one or more general purpose
programming languages
? Prefer to have 2+ years of experience in big data analysis project based on probability
theory and statistics.
? Experience in large scale search ranking infrastructure is a plus
? Experience in information retrieval, Web Search, User Query Understanding &
Processing,query segmentation, query weighting, query intention identification, data
mining and machine learning is plus
? Ability to speak and write in English or Korean.
? MS or PhD degree in artificial intelligence, statistics, or related technical
