The candidate will support the development and implementation of Additives (especially I&E) Sourcing Strategy for A&P and in particular the sourcing strategies for China. The candidate will in addition, support the delivery of procurement COGS and Cash projects (in-region and pan-region where applicable) as well as all necessary contracting and quality requirements.
The candidate will work closely with the wider I&E Additives Procurement Team, as well as procurement Hubs / other sectors to support and enable category strategies (as applicable), and with other key functions across the IME and Auto businesses as required.


The candidate will be responsible for the following:

？ Drive the A&P Supplier Consolidation Programme for China & Taiwan. This will involve the continued project management of the programme (project charter(s) [as well as their update], timelines (GANT charts), monitoring of progress (Pipeline, Roadmapper), risk assessments and interdependency checks KPIs will be used to track delivery of benefits.
Lead the development of a I&E additives and suppliers market analysis for China.
？ Assist Regional Procurement Manager (A&P) and I&E Additives Market Sector Manager to prepare and present updates to key stakeholders within (GSC, GLT, Business functions) and external to the region. This will also require working through the Procurement Hub within A&P where necessary.

Support Regional Procurement Manager and I&E Additives Market Sector Manager in driving the implementation of the A&P Supplier Consolidation Programme for China & Taiwan, working closely with GSC Planning and Manufacturing teams within A&P. Support the same in the development of sourcing options for China.
？ Working with the external stakeholders (suppliers and distributors) for alignment on change initiatives.

？ Ensuring Management of Change (MoC) processes are followed.

？ Support the A&P Regional Manager in resolving operational issues as well as any contracting and/or quality and/or HSE requirements.

？ Initiate Consolidation projects for Australia/Thailand/Korea consolidation-2016

？ Stakeholder map for China, ways of working & business needs


？ Ensure quarterly/monthly negotiation with suppliers ; Price fighting -the environmental saving ,especially for China; and record COGs and Cash in pipeline.

Experience of procurement sourcing and contracting activity and the delivery of a broad range of business benefits (cost cash, innovation, service, compliance)
Experience of negotiating and dealing with companies / suppliers and supporting supplier focused innovation and performance improvement programmes
The ability to form good relationships with people at all levels and from a variety of backgrounds
The ability to network and operate effectively within a matrix structure.
A level or equivalent
English - oral and written
Related technical knowledge pertaining to the sourcing role (for some roles this may be desirable but not essential).
Experience in using advanced sourcing methodologies and tools including e-sourcing (desirable but not essential).
CIPS or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
Multilingual (desirable but not essential).
Degree Qualified (desirable but not essential).
