GENERAL DESCRIPTION / JOB PURPOSE
Primary responsibility is developing proposals and estimates for the industrial projects in the great China region. The P&E engineer will focus primarily on one specific region North China with in great China region. This function includes preparing the preliminary designs, cost estimates, written proposal and coordinating & supporting with Sales and Service Departments to ensure that project proposals meet all business goals, including volume and margin target.



MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Single point of accountability for the development of Proposal and Estimation to help the company reach business goals.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Analyze Proposal & Estimation requirements (RFQ) and work with Sales to develop a plan for preparing a strategic proposal (pricing strategy, optimized design techniques, additional services and value TTC can bring to the customer)
- Develop the preliminary design and bill of materials
- Complete Detailed Cost Estimates for engineering, procurement & construction services (including TTC material & buy-out material)
- Maintain timely communications and harmonious relationships between internal disciplines to ensure proposal details and execution strategies are in line with the customer needs and business goals:

- Prepare written proposals, ensuring all paperwork related to the bid is in order and completed
- Attend technical clarification meetings (as required)
- Work with Sales to customer call, track proposals, and provide management with feedback as to hit rate, wins, losses & lessons learned.


Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years working experience in electrical design or proposal and estimating function in MNC or others;
- Experience in scheduling, project management in EPC company or Design Institute is a plus;
- Experience in Sales function, especially in prepare bidding documents is perfect;
- Experience in Heat Management System is preferred, especially in Electrical Heat Tracing products.

EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical or equivalent fields
- Good command of spoken and written English for communication and business report.
- Can use wide variety of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Good at AutoCAD
- Holds Engineering Certificate is a plus.
- 3~5 years working experience, including 1 year in EHT preferred
