Introduction:

? We are looking for an Assistant Manager (or Manager depends on qualification) for Finance Organization of China & Korea of QuintilesIMS.
? A hands-on Hyperion expert who can proactively support FP&A team for a geographically dispersed, multi-profit center organization and is focused on operational business performance.
? Self-starter and will work closely with Finance colleagues across China, Korea and Regional HQ in Singapore
? Career Progression: ability to step up into roles at country or regional level within 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities

? Helps Finance Director in coordinating budget and strategic planning processes, drive standardization in planning and estimation processes related to annual budgeting, strategic plans as well as monthly forecasts for both R&D and Commercial Solutions.
? Assists in developing and providing consolidated financial reporting to constituencies.
? Helps to develop specific business metrics that support timely and actionable information flow for daily operational planning purposes.
? Helps to identify and monitor areas of risk and/ or opportunity and their financial impact on the China/Korea business.
? Assists on presentation of results to China/Korea President and other leaders of his Organization
? Provides financial systems support for the planning process. Helps to implement systems solutions for the forecast, budget and strategic plan processes.
? Prepares ad-hoc analyses for leaders including the Finance Director

Accounting: Limited tasks here – role requires basic understanding of accounting tasks performed by country Finance team and understanding of U.S.GAAP accounting principles and practices.


Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
? A minimum of 5 years of professional experience preferably with a multinational corporation that has quarterly US GAAP reporting requirements.
? Bachelor degree required and academic background in Finance, Accounting or Financial Management.
? Exceptional IT skills (Hyperion, SAP, Microsoft Power Point/Excel) with 3 years’ experience of financial reporting and accounting packages
? Good communication skill, fluent in English and Mandarin


Organization Reporting and Scope:
? Directly reports to: Finance Director of China/Korea.

? Keen eye for detail and numbers.
? Interest in commercial aspect (i.e. what is behind the numbers).
? At ease with Hyperion, SAP: exceptional IT skills
? Results driven, a self-starter who is capable of initiating work and supporting the teams proactively from a distance.
? Executes/ get things done (both individually and within the team)
? Able to work across geographical time zone (US, Europe)
