Responsibilities:
1) Be responsible for application support for Touch product.
- Pre-sale: collaborate with local sales to get customer project design-wins via project proposals, product demo, design review and firmware tuning.
- Project development: complete sensor or FPC review, firmware tuning, troubleshooting of technical issues particularly when the custom touch modules are integrated into customer device. Co-work with FW team to develop the customer specific new feature and test it according to customer spec.
- MP support and initial FA: After customer project enter MP stage, support the manufacture test flow. Complete the initial analysis on the failure panel return from field or end user.
2) Be responsible for application support for wireless charger product and connectivity product software support as plus.
3) Understanding of FPCB design and manufacturing, design customer specific feature and negotiating technical specifications with customers
- Preparation of demo systems to showcase current and new technologies.
- Understand an analyze customer application requirements, co-work with fw team to prepare the customized FW with required feature.
- To review and suggest optimal configurations for the customer device to install STs touch solution, to review the schematic and layout.
- Recommend optimized design solutions for customers.
- Working with customer to finalize and validate the performance of final solutions as installed in the phone.
- Tuning firmware or co-work with firmware engineer to satisfy customers phone level performance and reliability test.
- Trouble shooting in system level. Include but not limited in hardware, driver, firmware.
- Technical support for new business development activities.
- Record the lesson learn from the project and prepare the documents for internal sharing.
