Position:

? Project Controller supports the Project Manager in all financial and commercial aspects of the project and is responsible for costing, tracking and analysis of project progress as well as providing support for all commercial matters during project execution.


Responsibilities:
? efficient commercial management
? creation figures constituting the transparency of project implementation and leading / completion of all administrative / financial-related actions derived
? Check and optimize the results and the commercial objectives of the project
? Permanent participation in risk assessment of the project, and for actions to mitigate risks
? participation in the information / analysis of the project (assessment phase), including commercial inquiries
? Check the "As Sold" calculation / pricing orders for completeness and accuracy together with PM
? involvement in the acquisition of the project regarding the contract, dates, costs, earnings, accruals (deviations from the bids calculations must be shown and justified), etc., together with Tender and PM
? involvement in contract review (prior to contract signature), including consortium agreements and partnership agreements, for large Projects
? attend the Project Review Meeting together with the PM and issue the MoM
? initiative / follow-up of foreign exchange forward contracts (handling of the currency basket, hedging module in SAP)
? planning / monitoring of revenues, implementation of billing, scheduling / monitoring of net margin, gross margin, stocks (debtors, creditors, WIP, etc), the political risk exposure, etc. for the entire duration of the project including cost-control measures and portfolio optimization and monitoring
? ensure Project in SAP is reflecting the latest decisions approved in the PRM
? create progress reports, and (Rolling) Forecast
? documentation of all deviations between "As Sold", "Approved" and "Forecast" version of Project in SAP including shifts between on-and off-shore portion
? Initiate, monitor, update and resolve provisions and contingencies together with the LBU Controller
? Arranging and monitoring / bank guarantees and sureties
? follow-up of cash receipts (cash race)
? create action plans for deviations from plan and participation in their processing
? contract and claims management, together with PM, CM and SCM
? coordinating and involving all the bodies involved in the commercial processing
? create the recalculation
? Ensuring the project learning cycle, i.e., Feedback to particular lines and sales for commercial issues
? presentation of project financial data to the Project Review Meeting
? coordination and communication skills in commercial negotiations with customers, banks, government agencies and ABB, as well as participation in negotiations with major subcontractors
? Ensuring audit capability (internal / external) of the project


Competencies:

? The Project Controller is part of the Project Management and has partial responsibility for commercial, financial and contractual aspects
? In close collaboration with the project and after the division of tasks and responsibilities, he directs the project as part of its function and represents the project externally and internally (commercial leadership) in all matters relating to his duties.


Profile:

? Strong financial specialist, structured, result oriented and pro-active
? Demonstrated high level of analytical and cross-cultural communication skills, strong accounting background preferred
? Proficiency in SAP (PS, SD, FI and CO modules) and Excel
? Fluent in English
? Requires high level of coordination skills in order to gather relevant project costing information from project managers and accounting.
? Demonstrated good problem solving skill, approaching problems with open mind and persistence in order to implement sustainable solutions
? Experience as Project Controller preferred

Qualifications:

? Bachelor in Engineering of Accounting/Business Administration and / or equivalent experience.
