Job Responsibilities:
The role involves working as part of a team which provides support to customers and MNO’s in dedicated countries for the wireless products integration, pre-sales support, lab/field-testing at multiple locations, also abroad. The main responsibilities are as follows:
? Technical presentation and pre-sales support at the customer
? Technical training of distributors and customers
? Promotion of the Gemalto Portfolio
? Coordination of technical support and identification of the appropriate support packages for dedicated customers
? Proactive tracking of direct and distributor business by close alignment with the customer partners
? Acceptance, prioritization and management of the correct internal processing of customer requirements
? Identification of Gemalto Unique Selling Points (USP) by means of Competitor Analysis and as a result collection and development of “Selling Against” Arguments
? Trouble shooting (including log analysis, tracing, on-site testing) to establish the root cause of problems found in the field
? Raising failure reports, identification of solution or workaround and if needed internal defect escalation in a structured manner
? Enable customers to develop new wireless applications (e.g. test scripts, application notes, design hints…)
? Coordination of technical communication between the HQ and operator/customer/distributor

Job Requirements:
? High level knowledge of 2G/3G/4G wireless network topology (Roaming, Handover, SMS, UMTS/GPRS, PPP,…)
? Knowledge of hardware of wireless modules, understanding RF and power supply basics
? Knowledge of s/w platforms for mobile devices and security
? Knowledge of current M2M related standardization as well as GSM market trends (3GPP, LTE, Android..)
? Experience in SW/HW testing and technical understanding of wireless products
? Good understanding to (module) product integration (into customer applications)
? Potential for extensive travel within dedicated regions in APAC, mainly in China (mid + east of China)
? Excellent communication and presentation skills
? Experience in project management (Time-, Risk-, Cost management)
? Building and maintaining customer relationship
? Fluent English verbal and writing skills
? Strong capabilities to interface to other organizational groups
? >3 years of experience in related field
? Solid knowledge of programming languages C / C ++, ability to write software routines
? Ability in Java, ie to develop Java Midlets on supported hardware will be a big plus
? Ability to compile executables in Linux environment
Additional Skills:
? Experience in debugging of real-time embedded solutions with lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network server)
? Experience in verification and validation of software including approvals testing and inter-operability testing

? Very fast learner, without being afraid to build up knowledge in new areas
? Ability to work independently and successfully complete assignments

? Goal and solution oriented project management skills with perseverance
Education Requirements:
? Degree or Master's in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Information Technology
