Essential Functions and Duties:

Responsible for supporting the daily tactical activities of Lam's China export and import compliance programs. This is achieved by ensuring that operational compliance requirements and business objectives are achieved along with assisting with Foreign Trade and cross-functional projects, as required.

Support Lam's export and import control infrastructure by:
1 Processing daily export and import operational transactions including SAP GTS order releases
2 Supporting export and import classification requests
3 Providing employee education and training
4 Auditing core business functions and offering recommendations for process improvements
5 Understanding and implementing compliance screening activities for customers, vendors, employees, and visitors
6 Participating in projects, internal and cross-functional, relating to export and import activities
7 Providing excellent customer service for internal and external customers; diplomatic interaction with all levels
8 Processing and supporting China and applicable US export licenses


Required Experience:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in export and/or import administration roles
- Knowledge of China export and import operations
- Familiar with China MOFCOM regulations and requirements
- Experience working with issues of a global nature
- Experience with US Export Administration Regulations (including Export classification), Customs Regulations, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) a plus
- Experience with software, technology transfers, and deemed export programs a plus
- Experience with SAP and SAP GTS module a plus
- Experience with SNAP tool and export license applications a plus
