A leading foreign real estate investment company listed on a leading Asian stock exchange is looking for a Procurement VP for indirects for its China HQ in Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities:
- overall strategic planning for procurement within China.
- ensure cost optimization for all projects.
- effective negotiation with all concerned parties/suppliers.
- Warehouse construction-related sourcing.
- warehouse facilities & equipment-related sourcing.
- auxiliary services sourcing.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in capex, mro, facilities indirect sourcing experience in manufacturing MNC.
- Bachelor's technical degree, MBA preferred.
- understand technical specifications.
- strong negotiation skills to drive cost down.
- strong influence skills to obtain buy-ins both internally and externally.
- existing network of suppliers.
- report to Managing Director of China.
- ethics and professionalism.
