MAIN PURPOSE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
?This position is about providing HR generalist activities to Shanghai Head Office /BJ and related
stores;
?It is expected that the successful candidate will be passionate about ensuring HR adds significant
value to the business and is committed to having an excellent customer service mentality
?The person selected must be an excellent communicator, possess advanced people skills,
Possess the ability to be flexible in operational style to meet the needs of a multi-cultural
workplace and support the HR initiatives.
?The HR Manager role is a generalist Human Resources position and involves providing
generalist HR skills and support that in turn enhance customer service and result in HR having a
positive effect on the bottom line of the business.
? Assist in setting up HR fundamental system for the head office and properties including
Employee Handbook, Labor Contract, HR policies, procedures, standards as well as guidelines
and ensure compliance with regional and corporate policy;
? Provide recommendations to update the policies in Employment Handbook for the business.
Recommendations should comply with all local labor laws and relevant legislative requirements;
? Be involved in administrating and advising management within the head office and properties on
poor performance related matters. This relates to dismissals, redundancies and terminations as
well as the final departure of the employee;
? Administrate all facets of employment law related to State and related regions;
? Provide sound advice and administration on all matters relating to recruitment and selection due
to business needs;
? Work closely with the store , maintain and update related job descriptions, set up
hiring strategies, pipelines and selection approaches to acquire qualified talents from the
workforce market according to business requirements of the company;
? Liaise with preferred suppliers for recruitment agencies and actively manages the costs for all
Hiring for the company;
? Be responsible for the administration and implementation of benefits and target incentive for all
employees;
? Be responsible for all facets of salary survey, performance management, target incentive and
Merit plan process;
? Assist in developing Learning and Development System for the head office and properties;
? Be responsible for the administration and implementation of all learning and development
Activities based on business requirements and employee’s individual development;
? Provide day to day education to managers on local employment law requirements, including
redundancy/severance pay, termination boundaries and other relevant statutory requirements.

? A self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
? Good communication and interactive skill
? Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skills
? Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems within an ambiguous environment
? Demonstrated management and consolidation experience
? Demonstrated management skill to coach and motivate team in properties
? Demonstrated a methodical work organization and strong analytical skills
? Demonstrated experience in managing, training and mentoring of staff
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor degree or above with major in Human Resources, business management or related area
? 6+ years experiences in a HR Generalist management position or similar
? Good knowledge on Human Resources principles and service
? Advanced knowledge and advice on all matters relating to State and local employment law and
regulations
? Accurate interpretation of HR policy and process for the Group
? Previous experiences of recruitment and selection of all level of employees
? Previous experience with vendor contract negotiation and management
? Fluent English and Mandarin in writing and speaking
