General Responsibilities:
Be responsible for daily customer service and operation issues , team management and oTMS Super user
Detailed Responsibilities:
? Deliver high quality of services to customers to maintain the existing business
? Be responsible for team and functional P&L, secure the existing business with a health profit
? Know how to use dedicated transport system, oTMS, to monitor the on-going business and be sure the daily date will be uploaded into system on time and accurately
? Manage and control vendors’ operations on daily basis
? Conduct regular and irregular meeting with vendors for operations reviewing, identify the key issues and solutions for problem solving
? Work with VM for vendor selection, evaluation, deployment and the monitoring
? Conducts new-comer and on-the-job training to staff to maintain consistent service levels
? Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department
? Establish team spirit of the team, be an example for the team members
? Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
? Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets
? Align company business target to determine performance targets for the function
? Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
? Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities.
? Plan, organize and direct an efficient and effective function.
? Develop IKOs/KPIs within team and monitor individual performance
? Conduct performance appraisals, including coaching
? Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
Communications:
Internal – Logistics staff in Transportation operation team and in other functions, HQ in Shanghai, Air & Sea sales managers, overseas Solutions BD & other managers.
External –Existing customers, vendors, business partners.
Competency & Qualifications:
Competency Requirements Desired Level*
Communication L4; Good communication skill, necessary basic English communication;
Customer Service L3; Strongly customer oriented with excellent service etiquette
Team Work L4; Cooperative, and real team player with broad business insight;
People Management L3; Strong analytical skills and be solution provider;
Result Orientation L4; Can use resources to achieve goals and objectives within timeline;
Qualifications Requirements
Knowledge & Skills Must be familiar with domestic transportation market including cost structure,
Cost level, real operation practice and team management. Ba capable of operation problem solving with a quick response, can set up and design SOP, KPI and etc. for each account and know how to identify and correct the issues
Education & Training Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and college is acceptable in case proven
strong capability in the position
Experience Min 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a Domestic transportation industry or a 3PL transportation management department.
Personal Characteristics Modesty, diligence and integrity, self-motivator, can work independently and proactively towards achieving set goals. “Can Do” attitude is a Must. Written English is a plus. Be flexible in the changing environment to meet customer requirements. And self-motivated with proven ability to contribute to new challenges.
