Job Title: UNIX System Administrator

Background:
Accenture Infrastructure Outsourcing Delivery Centre is Accenture global Unit within Infrastructure Outsourcing. Infrastructure Outsourcing Delivery Centre is responsible for all Technology Infrastructure services delivered to Accenture IT outsourcing clients as an Infrastructure Outsourcing business.
The UNIX system engineer is responsible for delivering the UNIX system management service for the Accenture IT outsourcing Business. The services provided by the Accenture IO Delivery Centre include Design, Architecture, Project Management, Transition, Deployment, Implementation, Operations and Sustenance of IT Infrastructure spread across various locations and countries.
The UNIX system engineer will be responsible to manage and deliver the Global Projects for the Unit.

Position Responsibilities:

The initiatives under IO Delivery centre cover the full spectrum of infrastructure technology work. Examples of current initiatives in progress include the following:
? Client IT service delivery and performance management and some specific IT design and build project
? System Administration (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, Linux)
? Projects (e.g., evaluation and deployment of UNIX/ SAN/NAS solutions)
? Infrastructure Operation, provide stable IT operation support and drive continuous improvement
? Application Support Services (e.g., establishment of a global service for certain new sub-sets of applications used for client service delivery)
? Willing to work out of Shanghai

Position Requirements:

Required Education:
Bachelor/Graduate with Engineering Degree and equivalent work experience required.

Years of Experiences:
? Should have 4+ years of strong experience in IT Infrastructure Management / UNIX support / IT Service Delivery.
? The candidate should have minimum of 1+ years of project management experience.
? At least 4 years of relevant experience in which 3 years experience in UNIX System.
? DB administration experience: Oracle, Oracle RAC, Sybase, SQL server (plus)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
? Be familiar with Data Backup for HP-UX and IBM AIX systems (Veritas is a plus)
? Be familiar with storage technology (SAN, NAS, iSCSI)
? Be familiar with UNIX system (AIX, HP-UX, Linux)
? SAP Basis experience is a big plus.
? He/she should have excellent communication skills and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders informed of the project delivery.
? He/she should be able to understand and adapt, the regional/country specific work cultures, for project delivery
? He/she should be able to build effective working relationships with various other teams within Accenture
? He/she should be able to articulate and communicate the related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
? Project management skills.
? Various large scale system setup and maintenance skill and experience;
? Experience of working with virtual project team members.
? Good knowledge about the various IT infrastructure components and processes.
? Good to know Call logging tools like Remedy, HP Openview, MRTG, or experience with any network management tools, MOM, SMS
? Good MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office skills

Preferred Certifications:
? RHCE, HP UNIX admin, IBM AIX admin, MCSE (Optional)
? Oracle DB support experience is a plus

Soft Skills:
? Team Building and Team Leadership is preferred
? Possess strong influencing skills and substantial delivery capability.
? Excellent oral and written English and Mandarin language skill
? Good planning, organization, and implementation skills.
? Good Written and Verbal communication skills.
? Good Documentation
? Presentation Skills is preferred
