Job Overview As a Senior/Staff Engineer, you will play a leading role in ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) process development and improvement efforts throughout the Asia Pacific region. Successful candidate will fully coordinate all QCT ESD process efforts as well as identify and drive ESD improvement projects, Support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives as they pertain to QCT Business Units, acquisitions and working on continuous improvement initiatives with internal QCT teams. Able to provide instructor-led training using Power Point and exhibit practical demonstration with use of ESD equipment Ability to plan, coordinate and follow through on tasks. Ability to direct the activities of others and to interface/communicate with cross-functional (and cross-cultural) teams internally and externally. Able to work independently and develop plans once general direction is given. Exhibits discipline, thoroughness and rigor in solving problems. Provides visibility into team accomplishments to outside world Support readiness for customer and external third party quality audits in the regional sites Conduct Data Analysis using statistical tools
Minimum Qualifications 8+ years experience in Quality or a related field in semiconductors / electronics industry
Knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IEC-61340-5-1, with emphasis on material qualification and compliance verification
Proficient with the use of ESD basic/advance equipment used for process evaluation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with FAB and knowledge of (Back-End) Assembly & Test and SMT
Experience in using problem solving processes such as CAPA/8D, FMEA, SPC, etc.
Preferred Qualifications Program Management skills a plus ESD program Manager Certification is a plus Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
Education Requirements Bachelor's in Engineering or a technical field. Preferred: Master's in Engineering or a technical field.
