Job Summary
* Avoid and reduce defect rate during production stage to reduce the cost of waste, increase production efficiency.
* Keep improving product quality at supplier facilities by FMEA, product spec study, inspection and implement SCAR with suppliers
* Set up robust supplier management system initiating from NPD, production, quality control, social compliance through security Etc.
* Set up robust supplier regulatory compliance system and ensure products pass customer assigned lab testing and audit on time
* Manage Far East suppliers through, the initial qualification process, factory audit, implementation of project plans, and the continuous pursuit of process improvement, product FAI qualification, quality control and inspection. Work to become a resource to the US based development teams and the Director of Sourcing by sharing expertise and by providing comments as to the strengths and limitations of Far East Suppliers

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Fully understand and translate engineering and quality specifications to suppliers. Assure that the specifications are fully understood and adhered to by all suppliers.
* Perform Pre Shipment Inspections in suppliers manufacturing facilities and document supplier non-conformances and initiate Supplier corrective actions requests (SCAR) as necessary
* Generate and review supplier weekly DPPM and scorecard, work with suppliers to keep improving product quality on daily basis
* Initiate supplier audit for any potential suppliers (new supplier)
* Initiate yearly supplier audit for Igloo existing suppliers in China, take corrective actions for suppliers to keep improving
* Lead and perform pre audit for LLF suppliers prior to LLF’s customer audit, and take corrective actions before LLF’s customer audit starts
* Work with suppliers to have pre-production meeting for any newly launched products, perform FAI during new product pilot production in supplier facilities. Correct any discrepancy between original design and actual products
* Study CPSC updates or any other US regulatory compliance updates related to LLF products, ensure LLF products meet all compliance requirements before shipping from Asia
* Drive continuous product improvement by quality system improvement plan and scorecard, work with suppliers to drive execution of key quality improvements
* Review and control qualification and development activities as it relates to new products, new processes and process changes with regards to supplier capabilities.
* Provides back-up for all QA activities as it relates to the day to day operations.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or Technical Field
2. Min 3 Years experience working in international environment
3. Experience of Walmart, Target, Lowe’s operation is preferred
4. Knowledge of metal manufacturing process, ECR, FAI
5. Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality system and SA 8000 system. GSV / C-TPAT will be a plus
6. Good communication skill
7. Excellent English for reading, writing and speaking
