Key Deliverables:
? Work with Country Manager to make new business development plan and achieve new business revenue target
? New business pipeline management - Lead development, management and qualification
? New business report management - Salesforce status update, weekly/monthly new business status update
? Participate high value forums and events to generate leads.
? Agency credentials presentation and introduction to marketing manager level prospects.
? Work together with Group Account Director in Shanghai and internal team across departments to win the new business.
? Support and implement Global/Regional Retail and Channel marketing campaigns
? Manage ICLP China official Sina Weibo and WeChat account from new business development prospective.
Principle Responsibilities (Indicative % only)
Lead Management / Generation (30%)
? Sourcing, development, qualification, cultivation of new business leads based on business and marketing strategies
? Management of leads and contacts in Salesforce.com
? Reporting the new business status to the Group biweekly
? Introduction and presentation of ICLP proposition and credentials, collection and interpretation of prospect briefs
New Business Proposals (20%)
? Lead the development and delivery of minor proposals to prospects (operational, commoditized services etc.)
? Support major BD pitches and proposal development
Partnership Development (40%)
? Partnership developing through prospecting, cold calling and building excellent relationships.
? Explore potential strategic partners which benefit the company in terms of branding and sales.
? Improve, innovate and explore new business models to capture new market and partnership opportunities and the changing needs of customers and partners.
? Set up evaluation process and standard to analyze the success of the partnership marketing programs to include incremental revenue and new business accounts.
? Work with other staff members in the same region to strategically manager and deliver projects.
Internal Support / Marketing (10%)
? Support client service / other teams as required for existing client
? Acting as a local marketing resource, support the localization of global marketing activity. Manage and maintain the official Sina weibo and WeChat account including content sourcing, writing and response represent the agency.
Personal Profile:
? Minimum 5 years of experience within the marketing industry in China
? Solid understanding of direct marketing, CRM, loyalty business, new media / digital marketing including basic technology / platforms understanding
? New business experience, working on pitches and proposals
? Strong relationship building skills and an entrepreneurial approach that leverages further opportunities.
? Mature, creative, and business minded, demonstrated problem solving and ability to work with strategic concepts
? Advanced numeracy skills and the ability to accurately price, budget and forecast
? Superior written and verbal communication skills
? Strong and confident presentation skills
? Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
? Energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude with a desire to progress
? Self-motivated & ability to motivate others
? Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
