As the industry embraces the gathering of “Big Data”, are you interested in working on how to analyze this data using sophisticated quantitative methods to extract new and actionable insights that traditional business intelligence cannot discover? The Information Management and Machine Learning (IMML) China team is looking for senior software engineers to help us build a unique cloud platform that will use advanced analytics and data integration to change how businesses operate. By providing the capabilities to gather data from a wide variety of sources, transforming it, creating predictive models, and operationalizing it, we will enable customers to perform demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and extract other leading edge insights. By leveraging the Azure cloud platform and integrating it with on-premises data and compute capabilities, we will be able to unleash the full potential of data.



We are looking for a seasoned technical leader to help us drive our strategy into these new advanced analytics directions. We are look for someone with the skills needed to architect, design, and build highly reliable cloud services that will be deployed both within China and worldwide. A focus and ability to build enterprise grade software is a must.



IMML China is an experienced team with a strong track record of shipping products and services. Experience in creating and driving new technology is required. A track record of strong execution and along with the ability to understand customers and the market requirements needed to create new products. Strong communication skills are a must as is deep passion for technology. A deep understanding data technologies and the design and operation of cloud services is a plus.

- 7+ years of professional experience in feature design, developing, debugging and shipping high quality commercial enterprise product

- Strong technical background and problem solving skills, and solid foundation on software engineering

- Fluent in one of the major programming languages: C, C++, C#, or Java

- Past experience with database and cloud computing is a big plus.

- BS/BA or MS in Computer Science, engineering or related disciplines

　　与本地客户和技术社区保持密切互动在微软全球研发过程中至关重要。鉴于中国市场的重要性，服务器与开发工具事业部中国研发团队通过广泛交流,有组织地参与到本地生态系统和技术社区互动中：一）通过微软技术大会（TechEd）、MSDN和TechNet等微软技术网站与广大的本地开发人员和 IT专业人员交流；二）针对目标群体推出了微软技术先行计划(TAP)，微软最有价值专家(MVP)开放日、贵宾接待等特殊项目理解客户的需求；三）与相关原始设备制造商（OEM）、独立软件开发商（ISV）、系统集成商（SI）等合作伙伴开展深入互动。2010年9月，服务器与开发工具事业部中国研发团队组建了微软中国云计算创新中心（CCIC），全力以赴地支持合作伙伴和客户顺利运用微软Hyper-V和Azure云计算产品和技术。
