REPORTING TO (TITLE ONLY): Snr Director, Market Development
POSITION SUMMARY
? Manage a tele-based sales team of Business Development Consultants (BDC) responsible for delivery of quality pipeline across
? Recruitment, talent development, coaching, and monitoring of the BDC team for Oracle Applications
KEY RESULT AREAS
? Delivery of net new pipeline to support coverage of sales targets for Oracle Applications solutions
? Work with key sales leaders to define target segments and develop local strategies in support of product/solution/territory objectives
? Identify high potential outbound tele-prospecting programs that result in significant pipeline for the territory
? Align resources to go-to-market initiatives
? Support all marketing campaigns to drive conversion of MQLs to SQLs
? Influence Oracle’s (REGION XXX) licence revenue streams
? Monitor progression of BDC created pipeline to 40% win probability
? Approximately 20% of BDC created pipeline to convert to revenue
? Drive team to achieve productivity metrics including call volumes, talk times, campaign execution
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualification and Competencies)
? Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales management or business development management within an IT or High Tech business to business environment
? Demonstrable ability to manage, coach and develop high performing teams
? Entrepreneurial spirit
? Experience managing a team with a wide span of control
? Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
? Cross functional collaboration
? Results oriented
? Ability to engage with senior management
? Operates well in ambiguous situations
? Strong analytical skills
? Degree qualification essential
? Proven over-achievement in sales and/or business development targets
