Principal/Senior Public Cloud Test Developer(Java/Python, Docker) – 15001KJ0

As a member of the Cloud System/Integration QA team, you will participate in deploying, patching, upgrading, maintaining and debugging new or existing Cloud Services on top of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will also involve in End 2 End case automation. This position will involve complex integration process, debugging and regression testings for every Oracle Cloud release, and it is mission critical because it is the last gate before product goes to Pre-Production and Production environment. Duties and tasks are varied and complex, requiring intense analytic process, wide range of technical knowledge, and cross-region teamwork. They include: participate in product feature design, conduct reviews of requirement specifications as well as functional and technical designs, design and develop test cases based on functional and technical designs as well as industry scenarios, assist in developing test plans and hand over for automation engineer for automation, execute tests in areas such as functionality, system, certification, and performance, document product defects and manage their resolution, determine product readiness for release into marketplace. Need to work in complex distributed environments composed of backend Oracle databases, Fusion middleware servers, security access through Directory Servers, Network switches used as Load Balancer, Oracle Exalogic and Exadata , etc.

Specific responsibilities include:
? Understand Cloud service, based on cloud service design test framework for product.
? Involve and develop internal tools to optimize product-testing flow and test efficiency.
? Write test design specifications based on feature/program requirements, functional specifications and design specs.
? Deploy, upgrade, patch, troubleshoot and maintain OPC infrastructure and service in QA lab.
? Develop automation testing for end-to-end user cases.
? Diagnostic problems and fix issues of Cloud environment to support FMW and Fusion Apps.
? Review project documentation such as functional specs and design specs.
? Provide technical information as necessary to other disciplines; provide test status reports to management.
Qualifications:
? Good understanding of Cloud computing.
? Solid experience with code with the ability to write elegant and clean code.
? Good experience scripting languages Python, Perl, Ruby, Shell etc.
? Familiar with unit test tools for Java, Python etc.
? Experience in Linux, UNIX and VM platforms.
? Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.
? Creative thinking, good problem solving skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
? 5+ years working experience on software development and testing.
Desirable:
? Strong debugging and development skills on UNIX and Windows desirable
? Hands on experience in establishing testing infrastructure and testing automation
? Strong sense of software quality assurance processes
? Experience with testing methodologies and tools (Junit, SOUP UI, Selenium, etc)
? Experience of Virtual Machines would be a plus
? Experience with Weblogic Server
? Experience with Apache HTTP server and/or Oracle HTTP server
? Experience with Oracle Middleware technology
? Experience with Chef, Ansible.
Education:
