Job Summary
Provide financial transaction processing and accounting support to Accenture internal clients. It is responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of several aspects of general ledger and fixed assets accounting, cash application, inter-company billing in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP and Accenture Policy as well as balance sheet reconciliation, financial analysis, month/quarter/year-end financial close and reporting, audit support, tax computation and filing.
Key Responsibilities - Country Accounting
? Support full set of RTR processes, manage, coordinate, deliver several aspects of general ledger and fixed assets accounting, cash application, inter-company billing in accordance with US GAAP, local GAAP and Accenture Policy as well as balance sheet reconciliation, financial analysis, month/quarter/year-end financial close and reporting, audit support, tax computation and filing. Review junior members’ working files, prioritize of tasks and balance workload amongst the teams as team lead’s back up.
? Deliver trainings to new joiners.
? Develop a clear understanding of the business transactions and processes to aid daily procedures and to provide value added advice to finance contact(s).
? Partner with finance contact(s) to review account reconciliations and provide assistance and guidance in recording accounting transactions where necessary.
? Work with other financial functions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
? Ensure all SLA, KPI, and Metrics are properly met and/or satisfied.
? Ensure adequate internal process controls are put in place at quality levels.
? Ensure all customer / client queries are responded & resolved within the stipulated Turn Around Time
? Ensure timely review of work files, and follow-up on outstanding issues and actionable items.
? Develop understanding of the internal systems and business transactions that impact accounts.
? Work with other financial functions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
? Participate in external and internal audits on an as needed basis to provide supporting documentation, knowledge about underling processes, analysis, etc.
Relationship
? Reports to: AEE Dalian Controllership Accounting Services Team Country/Process Lead
Experience/Knowledge Required
? Degree in accounting or finance or related major. Be familiar with US GAAP is preferable.
? At least 4 years’ relevant GL/AR/AP working experiences under finance & accounting field; Strong business sense and acumen.
? Good English oral and written skills, and structured communication and collaboration skills.
? Good sense of ownership, teamwork, accuracy, efficiency, details oriented, and advisory solutions.
? PC Skills (Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook); Strong knowledge on SAP or equivalent is preferred.
? Good ability in handling critical and ad hoc task, and addressing issue within tight time constraints.
