DESCRIPTION:
Executes internal and external transportation management workflows and processes that affect the client’s production, distribution, and inventory. Works with client account operations & management team to create and review internal procedures and management routines to maximize client and carrier satisfaction. Uses systems to execute process flows and productively contribute to an environment of collaboration with the client and carriers to minimize client costs and create efficiencies within the client’s supply chain processes. Works with the client account operations & management team to identify and implement solutions to maximize profits. Ability to learn and execute commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established standard operating procedures to perform the functions of the job. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Empowered to make decisions in conjunction with the Account Manager and/or Operations Manager on behalf of the client.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage and execute shipper client’s orders and shipments
? Monitor system load board (from load shipment entry to delivery and thru billing)
? Review the previous load activity in the system to identify potential problems
? Manage, resolve, document daily exceptions
? Manage, resolve, document service failures
? Identify route guide and rate changes for continuous performance and cost improvement
? Identify and implement operational efficiency gains
? Monitor potential late pickup and deliveries
? Make and respond to all changes submitted from the client in a timely and accurate manner (notify carriers, reschedule appointments, etc.)
? Provide prompt and professional response to client's requests for additional information
? Hit tactical and operational KPI targets.
? Strong willingness to be committed to the assigned account, department, and oTMS
? Help manage reconciliation of weekly financial reports
? Delegate tasks when appropriate and support the closure of gaps as necessary
? When needed, manually create loads using the appropriate internal operating system
? Willingness to work on more than one account when there is a business need
? Support and develop operations team
? Work with client/carrier to identify process improvements
? Track successes/gaps for dedicated account
? Work with client and carriers proactively to manage carrier AR/AP
? Manage all new carrier setups and training of oTMS tools
? Manage all new warehouse setups and training of oTMS processes
? Meet KPI target’s set from an operational and tactical level [if targets can not be met then a gap analysis must be published]
? Develop customer savings story with Operations and/or Account Manager
? Manage manual information system uploads
? Manage and execute Financial Audit Reports
? Execute Daily Overview reports
? Work with carrier/client to manage carrier performance

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
? College/University degree
? 3+ years relevant work experience (Supply Chain and/or Logistics preferred)
? Knowledge and experience of the China logistics and supply chain market, specifically in China domestic transportation a plus
? Ability to communicate and build effective working relationships with internal peers and colleagues across all divisions and departments
? Ability to work in a stressful, team oriented, and fast-paced environment
? Ability to think creatively and strategically
? Able to understand and learn different technologies quickly
? Fluent in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
? Detail oriented
? Ability to think creatively and strategically
? Willingness to work autonomously
? Friendly & exceptional customer-service attitude and skills
? Ability to problem solve and conduct root cause analysis
? Strong Communication Skills
? Ability to work flexible schedule and on occasion including overtime, weekends, and holidays
