Position: Engineering Manager
Report to: Technical and Engineering Director (Foreigner)
Location: Shanghai



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Work and lead in the engineering department preparing designs and drawings for manufacturing & field operation
? Designing and re-engineering equipment solutions by using industry specific knowledge
? Establish action plans and to bring oversea products and designs to the local market with similar or identical quality and feature sets while working with local suppliers to ensure that the results are competitive using local methods and materials.
? Liaise with Sales, Manufacturing and the end customer to ensure specifications are interpreted correctly for quotation purposes as well as to ensure engineering data are released and meet the contract schedule at customer satisfaction.
? Lead product transfer and product introduction projects
? Coordinate with vendors & suppliers, production, warehouse, sales and marketing cross-functional team to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
? Achieve cost reduction objectives from all sources, compiles appropriate information, makes recommendations for action, and checks on results obtained.



REQUIREMENT

? Knowledge of Chinese National Standard and relevant industry standard.
? At least bachelor degree of steel structure design or mechanical & electrical engineering major, with + 8 years relevant design experience.
? Above average competency with Pro-E, AutoCAD or PKPM, XSteel.
? Demonstrated understanding of steel building system or mechanical and electrical systems engineering principles.
? Experience in steel structure design & optimization, detailing, fabrication, construction, as well as integrate mechanical and electrical equipment and devices attached to the building structure as one functional entity.
? Project management skills is a plus
? Good English communication skills
