Position: BU Manager -Terminal Block
Reports To: EC & DC Division Head
Location: Shanghai



SUMMARY:

? Drive to the success of business of Terminal Block products.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

? BU Manager of TB Business Unit is responsible for overall of Terminal Block products, and this position reporting to Division Director (EC & DC), China. To be a driver of commercial & operation in China on existing clients as well as pioneering into new ones in lines with Company's mission and objectives
? The subject position will oversee the performance of the R&D team, project management team and lead portfolio team as well. Be able to engage resource of engineering, sourcing, administration and technical supporting, to ensure BU product roadmap, new products launch and sales performance.
? Work together with Industry and regional Sales team to drive the sales of TB products for customers, and obtain maximum profitability, through proper marketing plan (pricing, allocation, sales promotion, etc.) and product development.
? Work with R&D engineers to provide solid and innovative solutions to meet customers' requirements and industrial standards as well.
? Joint with quality department also responsible for the BU quality control.
? Assure BU products being manufactured within the budget cost in standard quality; satisfying the lead-time; Moreover, he/she should manage to implement any products transition and localization, achieving the target cost and controlling the whole manufacturing process to reach both manufacture and quality standard.
? Portfolio-planning and product lifecycle management, i.e.: product substitution, termination and balancing of R&D effort versus profitability of the individual product or product variant.
? Analyze market trends, customer needs and industry regulations, establish thought leadership position and support Industry or Sales team in the negotiation with major customers.
? Work closely with logistics functions to ensure product inventory is maintained at adequate levels to meet sales demand and to minimize reserve obsolescence by coordinating the steering of sales forecast for current and newly introduced products.
? Drive process improvement, competency & resource building up in order to ensure business success.
? Define budgets, targets & KPIs for team in coordination with top management; Ensures timely reporting of key data



REQUIREMENTS:

? Bachelor degree or above in electrical/mechanical or automation engineering. At least 15 years experience in the manufacturers of related products including 5 years of product or business management experience in multinational company.
? Sound knowledge in the electrical or signal connection application of at least one of the following industries: power, oil and gas, transportation, machinery or factory automation.
? Passionate and innovative.
? Result-oriented, detailed-oriented.
? Professional communication skill.
? Fluent in use of written and spoken English
