Main Purpose of Job

The Senior Solutions Consultant is a person with a strong product expertise and technical background combined with outstanding communication and personal skills. They work within sales organization and collaborate with sales reps to win new business by articulating the vision of how SDL solution will meet customer’s business needs and proving value of SDL solutions. They will work in a Solution and Insight selling and/or consultative sales methodologies. They must be very comfortable and proactive working with customers on preparing and presenting solutions. They must be able to deliver high level of product expertise and appreciate varying businesses and domains.

Responsibilities

? Provide solution recommandations according to identified customer pain
? Visualize or quantify the compelling value of SDL solutions by presentation, customized product demonstration or ROI analysis.
? Understand customers’ existing and desired technology architectures (sizing, technology used, deployments), and provide feasibility evaluation of proposed SDL solutions.
? Articulating customer’s business requirements and define solution requirements.
? Lead workshops and proof of concepts for customers to complete successful evaluations
? Uphold the highest level of standards in the team’s execution of the sales process, including Request for Proposals (RFP) submissions, statement of work (SOW) discovery and delivery planning.
? Support industry conferences, roundtables and SDL events
? Advise and support SDL customers and partners in the definition and planning of complex solutions adjacent to SDL products.
? Provide consultative suggestions when there is need.

Skills and Experience Requirements

? Bachelor’s degree required
? Fluent writing and speaking in Mandarin and English is a Must
? Minimum of 5 years working experiences and proven record with Technology Presale, Solution Consulting in an enterprise software provider, or as Technology Director/Innovator, Business Analyst or any other role of socializing/evangelizing technology to business and IT teams.
? Background in Web Content Management solutions.
? Background in Online Marketing technology or Corporate Branding business are a strong plus
? Experience with front-end web development (HTML, Javascript, JSP, ASPX, JSON, REST);
? Knowledge with front and back end development .net , Java and/or XSLT
? Working experiences with mainstrain WCMS technology e.g. SDL Tridion, Sitecore, Vignette, Oracle WebCenter, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Sharepoint, Interwoven/Autonomy is a strong plus
? Ability to represent customer’s requirements and relate to organization’s solutions
? Ability to articulate a technology vision to executives, business line managers as well as end users, and help them understand value of the solution.
? Excellent writing, technology presentation and demonstration skills
? Ability to focus on developing indept expertise in single product, and appreciate varying businesses and domains
