Purpose of the position
-Life cycle management of the general purpose drives control platform, lead improvements and further developments
-Quality assurance of the control platform and the related supplier base


Life cycle management (LCM) of the control platform
- Owner of the GPD control platform
- Support of the production engineering, e.g. PDN/PCN release, supplier support
- Quality assurance of the PCBAs, measuring and leading improvements, applying BU tools (eCoach)
- Support of PCBA fault analysis and root cause finding (leading 4Q process)
- Supplier quality management and supplier improvement

New product introduction (NPI) on EMS suppliers
- Be the interface between R&D and the EMS supplier
- Lead product technology transfers between EMS suppliers
- Technical support regarding manufacturability (DFM) and testability

Component engineering (CE) incl. end of life for PCBA products
- Maintain AML and distribute information to EMS
- Processing RFNCs
- Find second sources or process new second source requests from EMS in cooperation with SCM
- Request / review testing data for broker components

Test engineering (TE) strategy
- Define production test strategies and concepts (AOI, FPT, ICT, High pot, FCT, Burn-in)
- Lead the planning, implementation and maintenance of the production test equipment
- Create and maintain test software library


- Master degree or above in industrial electrical technology
- In-depth MVD product knowledge
- Excellent experience in the field of PCBA-design, testing and production as well as selection and qualification of PCBA related components
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership, self-organizing, structured, analytical
- 3 years work experience at least
- Fluent English
