Job Description


You will be in charge of consulting services for implementation projects based on Sage X3 ERP. Sage X3 ERP is a worldwide used ERP addressing large and mid-size businesses. You will be in daily contact with Sage customers, working alternatively on-site and remotely. Your main tasks concern customer requirements analysis, business process review, technical solution design, configuration, development, system testing and end-user training.

Primary Responsibilities

· Delivering technical solutions using integration and customization tools;

· Communicating with application teams and management to ensure a project's technical requirements are met;

· Assisting in system installations, upgrades and service pack updates;

· Proactively participating in strategic "path forward" discussions/meetings with clients;

· Participating in user group meetings as a presenter/subject matter expert resource.


Methodology

· Document services rendered using internal time and expense billing system and other project management templates.

· Utilize internal development methodology standards and source control.

· Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours and realization rates.)

· Use internal systems and processes to maintain client relations and business operations.


Perspectives and Other Responsibilities

· Attain product certifications as necessary.

· Participate in project quality assurance process as appropriate.

· Perform mentoring and/or coaching to team members and share knowledge amongst all team members.

· Provide sales support when needed:

o Assist prospective companies in their ERP technology assessment by obtaining information about their business strategies and processes and evaluate technology tools to enable them to carry out their objectives;

o Present tailored demonstrations of the technology solution;

o Develop statement of work and scope documents;

o Participate on a team completing a Request for Proposal or Request for Quote.

Desired Skills and Experience


The applicant will have a strong ERP system knowledge with implementation experience, and be comfortable with usage of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. He will have an excellent presentation and good communication skills and possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person.


Required skills

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent.

· 3+ years' experience with ERP systems (support, integration, customization, installation.)

· Good knowledge of databases (T-SQL, stored procedures, administration.)

· Good English communication skill.

· Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a desire to succeed.


Appreciated experience

· Good understanding of business flows.

· Capacity in project definition and analysis.

· First experience with Sage ERP X3.

· VBA or .NET development.
